Day One of the retreat begins with a lazy gourmet breakfast guests can savour in their room. Then it's off to Aleenta's organic farm to meet Google the Goat and to pick the fresh and sustainable produce that will make up the classic Thai lunch cooked under the expert guidance of our Head Chef and his kitchen wizards.
After lunch, and perhaps a glass or two of Aleenta's carefully selected house wines, sit back and enjoy a three-hour culinary craft spectacular with everything from traditional fruit carving to exhilarating wok juggling.
In the evening, relax under the stars and prepare for the delights of a five-course dinner and cocktail mix-a-thon.
Day Two dawns with a quick dash to the local market to pick out a mix of eastern and western produce, for a 'Chef's Challenge' lunch which will see the resort's chefs amaze with their combinations of European flavours and Thai ingredients.
After lunch, prepare for the thrill of a lifetime as the daring young men of Paramotor Thailand wheel out their flying machines and whisk ‘Gourmet Gliders’ away on a gravity-defying 'Discovery' glide over the beautiful beaches and rolling farms of Pranburi. It's an eye-opening overview of tonight’s dinner’s journey from farm to fork. The pilot will swoop down for a look at a local fisherman returning with his daily catch, then continue on around the bay in a spectacular 30km loop to point out where Aleenta sources the finest local ingredients for its farm to fork concept.
After soaring high in a Paramotor, it's back to Aleenta for some liquid nitrogen and an afternoon of modern interpretative cuisine, with an audience participation afternoon that takes in molecular gastronomy, freeze drying and herbal smoking.
In the evening, prepare to be whisked away to a local beachfront restaurant for a good old-fashioned seafood feast, fresh from the region's sparkling waters and become a local for the evening.
Day Three includes a traditional Thai breakfast and the presentation of a signed copy of Aleenta's cookbook.
