GLM today announced that Phil Robinson, Senior Vice President, has decided to leave his position at GLM effective August 1 after 22 years with the company. Robinson, who runs GLM shows serving the hospitality, contemporary furnishings, stationery, and design industries, was also a member of the company’s former partnership group. A search for his replacement is under way.
“Phil’s strong contributions to GLM, both as a member of senior management and as a show operator, are well known in the industry,” said Charles G. McCurdy, Chairman and CEO of GLM. “This is Phil’s personal decision and one that I accept. I am sure that our GLM associates and exhibitor partners wish him well in his new endeavors.”
Phil Robinson added, “It has been a privilege to work with and befriend so many talented people from different b-to-b sectors, and an honor to be part of the GLM team that built and produced great trade show brands. It’s the customer and collegial friendships that define the trade show experience for me today and tomorrow.”
