Manhattan College’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies (SCPS) recently launched a postgraduate degree for midcareer adults looking to advance their professions. The Master of Science in Organizational Leadership allows students to complete their master’s in as little as 16-20 months.

The 33-credit graduate degree is designed to offer professionals with at least three years of experience the opportunity to enhance their leadership and interpersonal skills. The entire program allows students to apply all course learning to their specific field of interest. In addition, the program culminates with a six-credit capstone course consulting for an organization, and students can choose from three categories, including organizational leadership, human resources development or public service.

“The new master’s degree is for professionals from a variety of backgrounds, including nonprofits, and for-profit public and private companies,” said Cheryl Harrison, Ph.D., executive director of SCPS.

SCPS is currently accepting applications for fall 2012, and prospective students can also apply for spring 2013. To learn more, visit http://manhattan.edu/academics/continuing-education/masters-organizational-leadership.
