Campbell, CA (PRWEB) June 27, 2012

For the third year running, iD Tech Camps has been named to the Bay Area Newsgroup’s list of Top Workplaces. The Campbell, CA company improved on an already impressive 2011 ranking of #7 to reach the #3 position for 2012.

Along with its iD Teen Academies, iD Tech Camps is the industry leader in summer technology education for ages 7-18, offering courses in a variety of relevant STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) subjects including iPhone® app development, video game creation, C++/Java programming, and more.

“Seeing the way this team functions day in and day out, I’m no longer surprised by our achievements,” says Pete Ingram-Cauchi, iD Tech Camps CEO. “By consistently listening to our clients, planning for improvement, and setting challenging, yet achievable goals for the future, we are able to maintain a clear vision of the ‘big picture,’ while working together to reach it.”

The Bay Area Newsgroup – with independent research firm Workplace Dynamics – administered a survey asking employees from over 1,400 companies for feedback on categories like workplace conditions, career paths, benefits, and more. iD Tech Camps, a family-run organization, joins small business leaders Simply Hired, Rocket Fuel, and others on a list of 35 firms in total, thanks to the positive responses of their employees.

And while there are other Bay Area businesses that have been recognized, employees at iD are quick to point out the many reasons why they feel their company stands apart from the rest.

“Providing educational opportunities to kids and teens is so incredibly rewarding that we all can’t help but take great pride in our work,” says Karen Thurm Safran, VP of Marketing and Business Development. “I’ve never worked for a company that has such immense heart for its clients and employees.”

From season to season, iD Tech Camps keeps employees and campers inspired, rolling out a number of new programs each summer. These include compelling camp courses in line with the latest tech trends, prestigious university locations held on some of the country’s most respected campuses, and even initiatives that impact daily life outside of summer camp.

Specifically, iD’s One Camper One Tree program has planted one tree for every camper who has attended an iD course since 2011. The project was launched in partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation and has so far resulted in the planting of over 40,000 trees. When you take this into consideration with other initiatives like iD LIFE, a wellness program that encourages healthy and active lifestyles, it’s no wonder employees are excited to be a part of this summer camp company.

“As an employee, I really appreciate the consistency of the company’s vision and outlook,” says iD Tech Camps Client Services Manager Patrick Hile. “Experimentation, creativity, empowerment; these same ideas are promoted both in the office among employees and out at camp with our students – and at all times. It makes for a truly amazing experience for everyone involved.”

With summer underway, iD Tech Camps has already dedicated itself to achieving record breaking levels in both enrollment and employee satisfaction. Being named a Top Workplace for a third time might be a charm for some companies, but iD Tech Camps has its sights set on capturing number four – and beyond.
