The Visual Communications Industry Group (VCI-Group) today announced training sessions, panel discussion sessions and partner exhibits at their Annual Conference focused on helping VCI-Group end-user members determine how and when to consider and evaluate cloud-based visual collaboration products and services. “One of our goals is to keep our user members up to date and informed about new products and services available in the visual communications and collaboration marketplace,” Said Stephen Demmings, President of the VCI-Group. “And one of the most talked about issues within our community has been when and how to evaluate cloud-based services. Consequently, we are scheduling training sessions, panels and new emerging technology exhibits at our Annual Conference to keep our membership aware, informed and equipped to comprehensively evaluate cloud-based service offerings.”
The Third Annual VCI-Group Conference to be held in Monterey California, October 22-24, 2012, includes a number of “state of the art” visual collaboration educational and training sessions, panel sessions, and exhibits. In addition to actual CVE (Certified Video Engineer) Update, VCI-Group will host exhibits from AVI-SPL, Polycom, Inc., BT Conferencing, Applied Global Technologies, IVCI, LLC, Blue Jeans Network, Vidtel, , Burwood Group, Inc., Chief, DirectPacket Research, Vaddio, and numerous others.
"In addition to conference exhibits, our CVE Update, and leading edge technology sessions, we are razor focused on putting innovative companies and technology in front of our more than 450 end-user members said Todd Hughes, VCI-Group Director. We want to keep our membership well informed and current, especially when it comes to leading edge offerings. And our new low-cost Emerging Membership shows just how committed we are. Vidtel, Burwood Group, Chief, and Direct Packet Research are just a few of the new members that will be helping our membership evaluate ground-breaking products and services at our October Annual Event.”
One of the methods used by the VCI-Group to keep their constituency up-to-date and informed is to leverage the education and teaching tracks available from their Alliance and Emerging Companies Members during the Annual Conference. Additionally, Alliance and Emerging Members deliver regular VCI-Group Spotlight sessions to the VCI-Group end-user membership throughout the year.
VCI-Group focuses on facilitating educational and peer networking in the conferencing and collaboration industry. In addition to providing access to education, training, learning programs and “hot-off-the-press” news and information, VCI-Group’s driving force is to keep the membership very well informed and connected to their network of member professionals.
The VCI-Group 2012 Annual Conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency Monterey in Monterey, California on October 22-24, 2012. For more information on membership and the 2012 VCI-Group Annual Conference, go to http://www.vci-group.org.
