The Jared Company, a leading smartphone app developer, has released a free app that simplifies saving and sharing screen grabs with the iPhone™.

Jared Company’s Screen Grabber app is the first iPhone app that reduces the process of saving and sharing screen grabs from five clicks to two – the first click to save the screen grab and the second to share it through Facebook, Twitter, by email or to special groups created by iPhone users.

The app, which syncs seamlessly to the iPhone, allows users to select the contacts they want to receive the screen grab before pressing the share button. Screen Grabber automatically compresses images to transmit screen grabs faster.

Steven Kader, founder and CEO of The Jared Company, said that Screen Grabber is easy to use and captures and shares clean, clear screen grabs of virtually anything – maps with directions, a cell phone number, texts, Twitter posts, photographs, web pages and information from other apps.

“Screen Grabber adds more value, versatility and functionality to your iPhone, making it a complete data transmission station,” he said.

Screen Grabber is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPad and third and fourth generations of the iPod Touch. It requires iOS 4.0 or later.

The Jared Company recently released an update of its free Screen Grabber app for BlackBerry®, the only free screen capture app on the market to operate free of watermarks, advertising and upgrade reminders. The Blackberry Screen Grabber update added Twitter and Facebook to the app’s screenshot-sharing feature, which also includes email and BBM™.
