In his new book “All About Equity Spending… With a Love Story” (published by AuthorHouse) Oscar "Dean" Windham dives into an intellectual discussion of politics and the economy through the use of satire, romance and creative fiction.
According to Windham, the economic crisis facing the United States is somewhat of a farce, and that people only need to understand their power to transform the economy to recognize its strength.
“My inspiration for writing this book was the recognition of a lot of false beliefs being presented as truth,” says Windham. “The main falsehood being that we the people of the United States must have a federal income tax to meet our federal expenditures.”
“All About Equity Spending… With a Love Story” is satirical and fictional while also turning to biting factual discourse to deliver Windham’s points. He recognizes that his book is controversial in its discussion of money, religion and politics, but he makes it a point to back up his claims with quotes from many important political figures and prominent leaders.
“This book will appeal to readers because it says out loud what a lot of people have been thinking secretly but have kept it to themselves thinking that the neighbor probably wouldn’t get it and sometimes that’s correct,” says Windham. “In short this book will appeal to everyone in one way or another.”
Windham makes the entire discussion more palatable to readers by weaving a touching romance story into the arguments and writing in what he calls a down-home style that is accessible to most readers.
