ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Dennis E. McGowan is a service-connected disabled veteran who served on active duty in the U.S. Navy, directing aircraft aboard the U.S.S. Ranger during the Vietnam War. He received his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Central Missouri. He worked as a claims examiner for the Department of Veterans Affairs and as foreign affairs specialist for the U.S. Agency for International Development in Washington, D.C.
