Survalent Technology Commissions New SCADA System for Paulding Putnam Electric Cooperative

Survalent Technology, the most trusted provider of smart grid solutions for the control room, announced today that it has commissioned a new Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system at Paulding Putnam Electric Cooperative.

Paulding Putnam Electric Cooperative (PPEC) is a member-owned, member-controlled nonprofit electric distribution utility located in northwestern Ohio. PPEC is one of 25 electric Co-ops in Ohio, and one of 37 electric Co-ops in Indiana. PPEC serves more than 12,900 member-owners in Paulding, Putnam, Defiance, Van Wert and Allen counties in Ohio, and Adams and Allen counties in Indiana.

The new system features Survalent’s highly available, open-architecture system based on Windows Server. It includes several of Survalent's open system applications, including: Control Panel, IED Wizard, Remote Alarm Annunciation, SCADA Add-In, and WorldView.
