Seattle, WA (PRWEB) June 27, 2012
Two leaders with strong state and federal government experience – John Engber and Jeff Morris – today announced the launch of a new public affairs firm, Engber Morris LLP (http://www.engbermorris.com).
This partnership between John Engber & Associates, Inc. and Energy Horizons Corporation (owned by Morris), brings more than 50 years of government, political, business development and public affairs experience to work for its clients.
"We envision a new model for public affairs," explained Engber. "Our firm is dedicated to providing first-class service to all clients, large and small, at a scale and price that fits their needs." Engber Morris LLP provides government relations, business development and strategic communications services.
Engber, a long-time state director for US Senator Patty Murray, has more than 25 years of political, governmental and public affairs experience. Morris has served as a member of the Washington legislature for the past 16 years, is a former congressional staff member and is internationally recognized as a leader on energy and US - Canada issues.
"One service we offer is political due diligence. Too many firms put off hiring help to assess political risk on their projects. Unfortunately that decision often costs firms dearly in lost opportunities or, even worse, hostile community reaction. In reality, public affairs must be an integral part of an organization's business development planning," said Morris.
This partnership brings together the extensive experience of the two firms – and their principals – in working with a wide range of clients, including non-profits, traditional and clean energy, medical device companies, environmental groups, labor unions and healthcare and governmental organizations.
"We look forward to working with clients who want to impact public policy, explore new opportunities or grow their organizations. Our firm has the experience to help them achieve their goals," said Engber.
Engber Morris LLP does not lobby the Washington State Legislature or seek to change state policy in the State of Washington. John Engber & Associates, Inc. does not lobby the Legislature but it does work on selective policy issues on the state level. Energy Horizon Corporation provides energy consulting services in commercialization, planning and project development.
