“The world needs to know what is occurring out there on other planets. I believe that with more people knowing, things could change for the better.”

Working in his audio studio in Oklahoma late one night, writer/producer Tom Hays and an associate started hearing faint radio signals being intercepted by their recording console. The signals would come and go, night to night. Over a period of two years they eventually captured 40 different transmissions, each 5 to 7 minutes in length. It was determined the transmissions were coming from civilized alien beings on a small planet named Amphibia in the galaxy Croakatoria.
In fear of possible public reaction to this discovery, as well as a reluctance to face possible excessive government scrutiny, the recordings were secretly and securely held under the code name “Star Base Toad”. They have now been released to the public. “I just could not see holding the information to myself any longer,” Hays said. “The world needs to know what is occurring out there on other planets. I believe that with more people knowing, things could change for the better.”
With Hays’ permission, the entire 40 Star Base Toad recordings have been published by Arizona publisher Postwood Press, and distributed in downloadable audio-book format by http://www.OpenBookAudio.com It is now available from most audio book dealers including iTunes and Audible.com. The recordings are also made available in CD format from http://www.StarBaseToad.com. Samplings of the audio recordings may be heard on-line.
Publisher Postwood Press, to avoid possible categorization problems, has labeled Star Base Toad satirical sci-fi fiction. Tom Hays is not so quick to attach that description. “Science fact? Science fiction? People need to experience Star Base Toad for themselves, and then decide.”
Hays is the author of the book "Twisted by the Wind: A Journal of Inspirations,Conversations and Imaginations" and is a published songwriter.
