Sport Court and USA Volleyball are celebrating 23-years as partners in the development of volleyball.

This year’s Boys’ Junior National Championships will be played at the Dallas Convention Center and the Girls’ at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. There are several age brackets, and teams must qualify before competing in the championships. Forty regions of USA Volleyball are represented. Each of the participating teams had to place in the top of their respective regional championship to qualify for the national championship.

Eighty courts of Sport Court Response™, totaling about 300,000 square feet, will be the scene of the high-performance action during the multi-day events. The championship courts will feature Sport Court’s newest product, Response HG featuring Maple Select.

Ron Cerny, President and CEO of Connor Sport Court International, the Utah-based manufacturer of Sport Court, said, “Sport Court is extremely pleased that USA Volleyball continues to select our highest-performing volleyball surfaces for their tournaments. It’s been a privilege to work with USA Volleyball for these past 23 years and its allowed us to use our championship experience to engineer continuous improvements to our performance floors.”

With the Sport Court Response playing surfaces, many volleyball courts can be placed under one roof and numerous games can be played at one time. This has created an electric atmosphere and has captivated fans and players alike. Moreover, the volleyball specific Sport Court flooring provides players safety, resiliency and lateral forgiveness, while at the same time being purely volleyball – not taped over basketball courts or concrete.

“No other technology has done more for the sport of volleyball in the United States than Sport Court volleyball courts,” said Doug Beal, President and CEO of USA Volleyball.

It’s no wonder that Sport Court Response flooring systems continue to be the official choice for volleyball organizations the world over.
