Keystone, CO (PRWEB) June 28, 2012
Keystone Resort has had pleasant weather conditions in June that are expected to continue heading into the Fourth of July holiday. Throughout Summit County, Colorado, temperatures have held steady in the 70s with sunny skies. The weather has been a welcome departure from the hotter temperatures along the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains.
Guests of SummitCove Vacation Lodging have been pleasantly surprised by the conditions in Summit County, Colorado as they enjoy their Keystone Resort vacations. A wide variety of outdoor activities have become available since the resort's opening day on June 15, 2012. Activities include summer favorites such as biking, hiking, boating, zip lining, white water rafting, and horseback riding.
While the conditions remain dry, Keystone is not in proximity to any of the wildfires currently burning throughout the state. The skies remain clear of smoke, allowing for full participation in outdoor activities. Visitors should keep in mind that in spite of this, the State of Colorado is currently under a fire ban on any open fires and the private use of fireworks. Keystone Resort, as well as neighboring towns and resort areas have planned alternate mountain activities for Independence Day including barbecues, live music and family friendly activities to celebrate the holiday weekend in lieu of fireworks.
As the summer continues, SummitCove Vacation Lodging has also released several lodging discounts that can be tailored to an individual guests' stay. An additional discount has been added for Fourth of July in which guests will receive a 4th night free when they purchase 3 nights in select properties. The offer will be good for new reservations only, and may be booked with the promotional code 'July4Postcard12'. Guests who book by June 29th will also receive a $10 Gift Card from the Haywood Cafe.
