This thorough analysis – including line item detail – displays all of the factors necessary to make decisions on contracts such as:
- Total spend per contract
- Current versus Amerinet costs
- Standardization status
- Product category
- Specific tier level applied
- Letter of commitment form status

SBH’s comparable savings opportunities – substitute products under Amerinet contract that would help the facility reduce costs while maintaining quality – averaged 13 percent in the early years, and currently range from 19 – 29 percent of the current spend.
Additionally, the Amerinet Savings Roadmap identifies pricing disconnects and the Amerinet support team is available to contact suppliers and ensure the appropriate pricing is loaded.
Between 2008 and 2009, Amerinet helped SBH achieve 84 percent improvement in price accuracy.
