R&K Solutions, a leading provider of facility portfolio management software and services, today announced that Art Porter will assume a new leadership role as company President on July 11, 2012, which is also R&K's 28th anniversary of its founding. Mr. Porter steps up from Vice President and Director of R&K's San Antonio, TX branch, bringing 38 years of domain experience in master planning and related consulting services, which includes over 22 years with R&K Solutions. Mr. Porter heads to Roanoke, VA, home of R&K’s corporate headquarters, as current President Bob Adams turns over the company.

Mr. Porter takes charge at an exciting time for R&K Solutions, as July 2012 is also when the company's newest Enterprise Geospatial Facilities Management software solution, GoRPM, will be formally released. Continued sales growth in the government sector, as well as increased commercial sector demand, particularly in higher education and healthcare, provides an energetic atmosphere at R&K during this transition of leadership.
