EXHIB-IT! Tradeshow Marketing Experts hosted their 5th annual B2B Networking event and 'Pay It Forward' Community Service fundraiser on June 7, 2012. Over 500 people attended the local event. The event had several sponsors with the main sponsors being Garcia's Kitchen, King Mobile Music, ABQPhotographer, Nothing Bundt Cakes and Bank of the West.

As part of the annual strategic alliance building networking event, EXHIB-IT! held a silent auction to benefit M.A.D.D. (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) which raised $5,756 for their charity. The event was full of great food and prizes, as well as an abundance of building business relationships for all of the business professionals involved. The business community came out in full force with 29 businesses participating as exhibitors at the event.

MADD was incorporated on September 5, 1980, the mission or purpose of MADD as stated in its Articles of Incorporation were “To aid the victims of crimes performed by individuals driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, to aid the families of such victims and to increase public awareness of the problem of drinking and drugged driving."

Each year, EXHIB-IT! selects one worthy non-profit to be the recipient of their Annual Silent Auction. This year, CEO DJ Heckes chose M.A.D.D. to be the recipient of the funds raised during the silent auction. Also each year EXHIB-IT! donates a Nomadic Pop-up Table Top Display to a nonprofit. The nonprofit is chosen through an application judging process. The application is put up on the http://www.exhib-it.com website every March under the B2B Event Tab and the applications are judged by the NM American Marketing Association. The winner this year was People Living Through Cancer and the display was donated at this same event in addition to two banner stands to the Tied 2nd Place Winners: NDI, NM and Christina Kent Early Childhood Center.

DJ Heckes, Author of Full BRAIN Marketing & founder/CEO of EXHIB-IT! believes strongly in giving back to the community by working with businesses and organizations that give back and contribute to the social and economic progress of Albuquerque and surrounding areas.

“I believe in having a servant heart when it comes to community volunteerism. We hold this event every year as a way of giving back to those organizations who truly serve our community,” said Heckes.
