With more than 150 songs to his credit, Orange County Musician Mike Peralta says his musical influence started with Nirvana and an old guitar his mother gave him. Mike now decides to interact live with fans on Airsee.com.

The Southern California singer/songwriter Mike Peralta was in high school when his love of Nirvana inspired him to learn to play an old guitar his mother got him--but it wasn't until a tragedy rocked his school that he came home and wrote his first song. As the people around him saw his talent he was approached by a couple local bands.

Mike learned very quickly that the bands he joined would come and go like the common cold. That meant that songs came and went with the owner of the song. Mike wanted to be able to play the same songs regardless of who he played with in the band. Because of that and the fact that he was the sole songwriter in most of those bands, he learned to copyright his music with the library of congress and kept writing songs on his own and then brought them into each band he joined. "When the band would break up, I would take the songs with me because they were my own original work and use them for the next band and the band and the, well, you get the idea," he explained.

Now without any major band around him and 150 original songs under his belt, he has learned to do it on his own, and become very successful at self promotion. He has done this with the clever use of social media. Mike currently, he has 50,000 views of his website and blog, 40,000 Twitter followers, 30,000 MySpace peeps, 1000 Facebook fans, and a website, http://www.MikePeralta.com.

Now Mike brings his musical and social networking talents to Airsee.com, where he will serenade his fans from all over the world. Airsee.com is the obvious next step in the progression of social media and interaction for musicians like Mike Peralta.
