When people look at a drawing or painting that I do, I hope they will feel the same emotion I did when I first came upon that scene.

"Painting from Real Life Experiences," the first book to document international award winning wildlife artist and conservationist Joshua Spies' work in detail will be released this Fall.
The book includes more than 50 high quality replicas of Joshua's artwork, including North American Big Game, African, Game Birds, Portraits and Song Birds. Several studies appear in the book, as well as never before seen pencil sketches and early work.
"When people look at a drawing or painting that I do, I hope they will feel the same emotion I did when I first came upon that scene," Spies said. "I enjoy what I do so much and am continually humbled by the fact that other people want to look at what I create."
Three editions of the book will be available, 2 of which will be signed and numbered limited editions.
