Huntington Hospital Names Romanelli New Chief of Staff

(June 2012) – Long Island plastic surgery specialist Dr. James Romanelli has been named the new Chief of Staff at Huntington Hospital. Dr. Romanelli was formerly Chief of Surgery at Huntington, and has his own private practice, Romanelli Cosmetic Surgery.

Dr. Romanelli's credentials and character align well with the hospital's mission. A board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Romanelli graduated from University of Notre Dame in 1978 and received his medical degree from SUNY Downstate in 1982. This was followed by eight years of post-graduate training in general surgery, plastic surgery and hand surgery.
