Sovran, a leader in technology solutions for business, is one of only a few women-led technology companies named to the Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal’s 2012 Top 25 Women-owned Businesses list. Sorvran’s ranking of 17th on the list is up from 2011.

The goal of this list is to recognize women business leaders and entrepreneurs for their professional achievements, leadership qualities and drive, as well as their position at the forefront of their professions. Lisa Loken is the owner and president of Sovran. She oversees corporate strategy, corporate culture, finance, solution development, human resources, customer satisfaction and the overall profitability of the company. Loken has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry. She started at Sovran in 1991 as the office manager when the company had only eight employees and sales of one million dollars. She was promoted to Executive Vice President in 1996 and became an owner in 1999. Since then, the full service IT solutions provider has grown to sales of over 16 million and 60+ employees.
