GraphiteInvesting.com was launched to help investors understand the opportunity in graphite minerals
Winnipeg, MB (PRWEB) June 30, 2012
Graphite is a resource that is in high demand around the world but graphite mining companies are struggling to keep up with the world's appetite for graphite minerals. To help investors learn more about this little-known resource, GraphiteInvesting.com launched earlier this week with a free course about graphite minerals and the investing possibilities.
When most people hear about graphite, they think of their pencils. But graphite is an essential part of many items that consumers use every day. Graphite is also widely used by the energy industry, the steel industry, the automotive industry, and the military. GraphiteInvesting.com launched this week to educate investors about just how important graphite is and to show the potential investment opportunities in the graphite space.
"I was surprised at how many products are made with graphite," said Aaron Hoos, a financial and investment writer and the founder of GraphiteInvesting.com. "But what really piqued my interest was the lack of supply. Simply put, there isn't enough graphite being mined in the world to keep up with demand." He adds: "And most investors know that whenever there is a supply/demand imbalance, new opportunities develop for new and existing resource explorers and producers, which in turn creates opportunities for investors. GraphiteInvesting.com was launched to help investors understand the opportunity in graphite minerals."
In spite of graphite's wide use and its growing opportunity in the resource space, few people know about this mineral beyond its use in pencils. To address the lack of information, Aaron Hoos created GraphiteInvesting.com to teach investors about what graphite minerals are used for and where graphite comes from.
GraphiteInvesting.com launched earlier this week with a free course -- a 10-lesson e-course delivered by email that is suitable for both brand new investors and seasoned junior resource investors who would like to know more about the graphite opportunity. The course can be completed at the student's own pace.
In the free e-course, investors will read of the important reasons for the increase in graphite minerals demand as well as the reasons that supply won't be able to keep up for the foreseeable future. The course does not make any investment recommendations but rather provides investors with the basic information they need to start doing their due diligence.
"Graphite minerals are a compelling opportunity," says Aaron Hoos. "Although the resource space can be speculative and is certainly not for everyone, I think some investors will find graphite to be worth a closer look because of its ramifications throughout the economy."
Aaron Hoos also hints at more to come at GraphiteInvesting.com, including an ebook, some free resources and possibly and advanced course. But the initial course, which is already seeing a number of registrations, is GraphiteInvesting's initial focus.
Along with the free educational site GraphiteInvesting.com, Aaron Hoos also writes about business and the markets at AaronHoos.com. For more information about graphite investing, visit GraphiteInvesting.com. For all other inquiries, contact Aaron Hoos at aaron(at)aaronhoos(dot)com.
