Tom Emmerson, VP of Sales and Operations at Premier Advantage Marketing has been elected to the Board of Directors at Fairbanks, the oldest independent treatment center in America. According to Helene Cross, President and CEO, “Our mantra is to stay connected and the best recovery outcomes will follow.” “The Recovery Center is proudly the home of the public charter school, Hope Academy, the first and only recovery high school in Indiana,” continues Cross.
Emmerson sees this opportunity as a continued way to give back to the community. “I have been a supporter for over 5 years,” says Emmerson. “I saw an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of teenagers and adults that are given a second chance. Everyone deserves an opportunity and a chance to heal from addiction. It’s a disease that affects the whole family.”
When asked “What does the mission of Fairbanks and Hope Academy mean to you?”, Emmerson answered: “I was touched by how these two organizations can change a person’s life for the better. It is so important to reach kids early, so they don’t have to struggle as adults.”
