The Fox Valley Chamber of Commerce has given thousands of dollars to members through the Chamber Bucks program that was announced at thier Inaugural Business After Hours Event on Wednesday February 22nd, 2012 at the Fox Valley Country Club in North Aurora, Illinois. Uniquely designed to foster business between members, Fox Valley Chamber Bucks is an innovative program that re-invests Chamber revenue back into its member businesses. The program is the brainchild of Fox Valley Chamber founder, David Berens. “We wanted to create a program that gives back to the members while stimulating business growth. We expect to give away about $18,000 in Chamber Bucks this year alone” says Berens. Members can win Chamber Bucks in drawings throughout the year. Winners choose another Fox Valley Chamber member to spend the Chamber Bucks with and the Chamber picks up the bill, up to the amount of the Chamber Bucks Certificate, which will range from $100 to $2,500. The program is completely funded by Chamber revenues.
