We continue to manufacture the best product we can, using techniques and equipment that we have purpose built to make what we believe to be the very best water softeners on the market.

A combination of new properties being built, leaks and poor plumbing infrastructure has led to reduced water pressure for many homes, meaning that they cannot meet the requirements of a water softener.
The industry standard for electrically operated water softeners is a minimum requirement of 1.7 bar to operate. Non electric machines such as the Harvey units previously required approximately 1 bar of pressure to operate, but even this requirement can be too great for some properties.
In an industry first, engineers from Harveys have designed the V3 valve, which solves these problems by allowing water softeners to operate even when the water pressure is below 0.5 bar.
Harvey Bowden, chairman of Harvey Water Softeners said: "We continue to manufacture the best product we can, using techniques and equipment that we have purpose built to make what we believe to be the very best water softeners on the market. The V3 valve makes it possible for a wider range of customers to enjoy the benefits of one of our machines."
Quality is an intrinsic aspect of the business, reflected in it's choice of using the best components at every stage of manufacture and installation.
Water softeners remove hardness minerals from the water supply. Hard water causes limescale and scum formation. Harvey Water Softeners have been established for over 35 years as a leader in the field of water softening and has developed products to alleviate these issues. Softened water offers improved effectiveness of soaps and detergents.
