Beginning August 13 and running through August 17, 2012, Lantech Training will be offering “SQL 2012 Unleashed: From BareMetal to Business Intelligence Workshop”, an exclusive, five (5) day course. This intensive, hands-on training is designed to provide Database Administrators and IT professionals with the working knowledge to install, configure and implement SQL Server 2012 Database and Business Intelligence features and components.
Why BareMetal? As Jordan Martz, MCT, MCITP: Sharepoint, SQL Server and SQL Server Business Intelligence Instructor explains, no other training program has ever provided this much content in such a compact time frame. BareMetal is a custom-built workshop, which offers SQL Server training in one-third of the time and at half the cost of the typical SQL instruction.
Lantech has always supported in-person classroom instruction over any other model; and the BareMetal Workshop is no exception. It is content rich, extensive and offered in Lantech’s state-of-the-art training facility. Classes are capped at 15 students maximum. This classroom setup allows for a more personalized learning experience. Space is limited, so Lantech encourages interested IT professionals to register without delay.
According to Martz, The Lantech course development team wanted to provide an “all-up” experience, going from the installation and configuration to the full deployment and utilization of a SQL Server based Database and Business Intelligence Solution. While this Workshop outlines very important configuration steps, students will also learn certain tips and tricks that will significantly reduce time spent on installation or configuration processes. Additionally, students will learn how to perform manual installations, automated installations, and use a variety of configuration tasks to get to the final outcome.
With the SQL 2012 BareMetal Workshop, IT professionals can also obtain Microsoft certification, as some modules are official Microsoft classes.
