Dr. Ken Stevens,of Premier Heart Care located in San Luis Obispo, CA, has been given the honor to serve on the CardioSurve research panel. There are only 300 cardiologists given this honor, out of a total of over 20,000 cardiologists in the United States.

The American College of Cardiology (ACC), a 40,000-member nonprofit medical society, is dedicated to enhancing the lives of cardiovascular patients through continuous quality improvement, patient-centered care, payment innovation and professionalism. Comprised of physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists and practice managers, the college bestows credentials upon cardiovascular specialists who meet its stringent qualifications.

CardioSurve is a panel of more than 350 randomly selected American College of Cardiology (ACC) members who participate in monthly research surveys. CardioSurve was developed in response to a need to learn more directly from U.S. cardiologists about all areas of their practice.

Since January 2010, the CardioSurve panel has conducted monthly surveys with about 150 - 200 of the panelists completing any given survey. Panel findings have been used to understand cardiologist attitudes and behaviors on current topics, develop new products for cardiovascular practices, provide direction for new ACC initiatives, refine communications and marketing materials, enhance loyalty and circulate important findings to a wider audience through the newsletter.

Dr. Stevens handles a variety of heart and vein issues and his office can be reached directly at 805-540-3333, at Premier Heart Care, in San Luis Obispo, CA.
