BFF and STEP initiate a collaboration to develop and promote educational programs for professionals working with entrepreneurial families

Business Families Foundation (BFF) and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) join efforts to provide educational resources in the field of family business governance and management to STEP members and members of STEP's Business Families Special Interest Group.

Together, STEP and BFF wish to positively impact business families by ensuring that the professionals who advise them have a meaningful understanding of their unique needs

STEP and BFF support the joint goal of providing valuable educational and training tools to professionals working with business families, in order for them to better understand business families’ perspectives and needs, and address their challenges.

STEP will offer five structured STEP Continuing Professional Development credits for the successful completion of Business Families FundamentalsTM, an online course developed by BFF and helping the professionals who work with family enterprises better understand their unique dynamics. STEP members and members of STEP's Business Families Special Interest Group having successfully completed the online course will receive a Continuing Professional Development Award issued jointly by BFF and STEP.
