Petaluma, CA (PRWEB) July 01, 2012
Permalla Dental Care, practice of Praveena Permalla, DDS, Inc., a Petaluma Dentist, announced today that it has been awarded LEED Certification by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). LEED is the USGBC’s leading rating system for designing and constructing the world’s greenest, most energy efficient, and highest performing buildings.
Permalla Dental Care achieved LEED Silver certification for incorporating a variety of sustainable strategies. LEED verifies environmental performance and occupant health. LEED was established for market leaders to design & construct buildings that protect and save precious resources while also making good economic sense.
LEED certification of Permalla Dental Care was based on a number of green design and construction features that positively impact the project itself and the broader community. These features include reduced energy use, lighting, water savings, choice of materials and pollution prevention measures. The implementation of eco-friendly practices at Permalla Dental Care involves an extensive list of protocols, procedures, education, state-of-the-art equipment, materials and methods. This ensures the wellness of patients, team members and the community.
The Permalla Dental Care team continuously researches and implements new technologies and clinical advances into the practice in order to further improve patient’s comfort and health. Patient wellness and highest quality of care is the foundation of Permalla Dental Care and LEED certification is one of many ways in which Dr. Permalla strives to provide her patients with the best possible care and experience.
The entire Permalla Dental Care team would like to thank everyone involved in designing and constructing the project. Certification would not have been possible without your valued advice and assistance. Please visit http://www.petalumagreendentist.com to learn more about Permalla Dental Care
