Detroit, MI (PRWEB) July 02, 2012
Plutonium™ Paint, a company which manufactures premium, high-quality professional grade aerosol spray paint, has announced today their availability at stores across North America. Plutonium™ Paint, a unique modified automotive acrylic with an exclusive vibrant color palette, was released to the public in December 2011. In less than seven months on the market, Plutonium™ Paint has found its way onto the shelves of retailers all over the United States and Canada - as well as into the hands of talented artists, decorators and organizations.
A proud member of the International Art Materials Trade Association (NAMTA), Plutonium™ Paint debuted as an exhibitor at this year’s Art Materials World, the only trade show dedicated exclusively to art materials, a venue where retailers were able place orders for Plutonium™ Paint. Consumers can find Plutonium™ Paint at Jerry’s Artarama, True Value, Ace Hardware, Curry’s Art Store and Dick Blick, which are among dozens of retail chains currently stocking Plutonium™ Paint on their shelves.
"We are extremely pleased with the rate our product has been picked up by retailers and consumers in the US and Canada," said Plutonium™ Paint CEO, Barry Fleischer. "We're looking forward to expanding our distribution efforts worldwide."
For those who prefer to shop from home, Plutonium™ Paint is available for purchase online through JerrysArtarama.com, Currys.com, and Amazon.com.
Among many talented artists using Plutonium™ Paint, So-Gnar, a duo comprised of pro snowboarder Pat Milbery and artist Dave Sheets, have been commissioned by Ford Motor Company to create a skatepark for this year’s X-Games event. So-Gnar featured Plutonium™ Paint as part of their unique, functional work of art which was displayed at Los Angeles’ Staples Center from June 28th until July 1st.
In addition to the X-GAMES, Plutonium™ Paint was featured at the NEWH regional trade show in New York City. NEWH, the hospitality industry network, hosted their first Urban Artist Battle on June 22nd, which featured famous street artists from New York City using Plutonium™ Paint to create artwork live at the event. Artwork was given away and also auctioned-off to attendees, proceeds were donated as scholarships for hospitality students.
All artists, art students, teachers, crafters, DIYer’s, painters and press are invited to try Plutonium™ Paint for themselves. Visit http://www.plutoniumpaint.com/retailers/ to find retail stores in your local area.
About Plutonium™ Paint
Plutonium™ exterior/interior aerosol spray paint provides a premium coating that resists dripping, chipping, cracking and peeling. Environmentally friendly, and by using a 70% pigment load and 30% propellant, it has over twice the coverage of other aerosol paints, thereby reducing its carbon footprint by 50%. Innovative features include an ergonomically seamless can and custom valve system, which allows the can to be held at any angle while spraying, without clogging. The Plutonium™ Paint color palette consists of 33 vivid opaques, 3 metallics and 4 translucents. As a true HVLP (high volume low pressure) color delivery system, our paint has been developed to dry faster, cover better and last longer than any other aerosol paint. Plutonium™ Paint sprays 360-degrees, dries in 3-5 minutes, doesn’t require primer, covers in one pass, sprays wet over wet, covers mold and mildew, is fade resistant with UV protection, and has a 5-year shelf life. It will not interfere with the use of, or combination of, other aerosol paints. Ideal for use on metal, masonry, wood, wicker, paper and some rubber and plastic surfaces for a smooth, durable, matte finish. A pleasant fragrance masks the odor typical of aerosol paints. Made in the USA. Born and raised in Detroit. Plutonium™ Paint is a division of The Malach Group. Visit http://www.plutoniumpaint.com for more information.
