KJM Windows & Conservatories launch the Ultraframe Livinroom Orangery

The Livinroom is a cheaper alternative to an Orangery, it combines the best of both worlds, the light and sky of a conservatory, with the walls and ceiling of an extension. The basic principle of the Livinroom conservatory is to design in brick piers, creating taller windows and then adding a plastered internal perimeter that can house down-lighters. It gives a solid look to the conservatory creating more of a living room feel.

This new type of conservatory is providing a real boost to sales

KJM Windows and Conservatories have launched the newest style of conservatory for 2012, the Ultraframe Livinroom. It's a conservatory with a difference as it provides the homeowner with a brand new choice:- It is a crossover from a conventional conservatory to an Orangery, providing a "more solid feel" to the building.

The Ultraframe Livinroom allows consumers to enjoy the light from a conservatory but with the ‘living room’ feel of installing an extension. It is designed to be a versatile and stylish living space which can be used all year round and to provide more privacy than a standard conservatory. The greater sense of solidity created by Livinroom also allows for more styling, decorating and furnishing options internally, with the perimeter ceiling perfect for integration of mood lighting or the integration of sound systems. The ability to refresh a bigger wall area with new colour schemes is a significant advantage, particularly over conservatories with windows all the way round.

KJM's Managing Director Mark Pearce commented, "This new conservatory/orangery is providing a real boost to sales, as it is providing a brand new market for us. The consumer now has a real choice between the Livinroom and an extension. This type of conservatory is generally cheaper than an extension, but it still provides the warmth and looks of a structure that would fit on to many types of house styles." He continued, "This is the next step in conservatory design and will go some way to remove the image of the 'white box conservatory'. The insulation on the Livinroom really does mean that this building can be used all year round"

KJM Windows & Conservatories have been trading for thirty years and are based in Andover, Hampshire in the U.K.
