July 02, 2012: Creative England ‘s popular networking evening crew nights, will be arriving at The Workstation in Sheffield this month.
Set to pull in professionals in TV, Film and Digital Media, the nationwide programme provides a unique cross-industry networking opportunity for production staff, crew and production companies.
The Workstation will open its doors to Creative England’s Locations & Production Services team from 6pm-9pm on Wednesday July 18.
The successful networking event has attracted over one thousand media professionals after touring a variety of locations such as Manchester, Bristol, Leeds Birmingham, Nottingham and Brighton. Further events are planned across the country until the end of the year, the next of which is scheduled for September and will be held at Creative England’s new home in Elstree Studios.
Animation and production company, Kilogramme was one of many companies to feedback that a useful connection had been made from attending the session in Leeds.
The events by Creative England aim to nurture the fruition of the vibrant film and moving image culture outside London. The organisation, was established in October last year, and is responsible for supporting the regional film and television industries outside London, merging forces with the digital media sector.
