Hunt Companies, Inc. recently announced that David Jannarone and Gerald Young have been promoted to Senior Vice President.

David Jannarone has been with Hunt since 2011, most recently serving as Vice President in the Public Private Partnerships division. In his new position as Senior Vice President, based in Hunt’s D.C. office, he will be responsible for sourcing new business through his sector, and will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of real estate development projects. Prior to joining Hunt, David was an appointee under Mayor Adrian Fenty in Washington, D.C., serving as Interim Chief Operating Officer for the Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) and the Director of Development for the Deputy Mayor’s Office of Planning and Economic Development. He earned his B.A. degree in Urban Studies, with minors in Business and Geography from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
Gerald Young has been an employee of Hunt’s construction services division for over 20 years, most recently serving as a Vice President and working on multifamily construction management, producing over 6,100 new and renovated multifamily units. In his new position as Senior Vice President, he will have direct management responsibilities for Langley Air Force Base in Virginia; a multi phased Project providing 1,051 new dwelling units, 107 historic renovations, one community center, and one club house with outdoor pool with a contract value of $311M. Mr. Young continues to effectively complete large quality projects within scheduling and budget constraints while providing an outstanding product for the end user. He received a B.S. Construction Management degree from Texas A&M University.
