On Wednesday, July 18, Dr. Cindy Asbjornsen of the Vein Healthcare Center in Maine will present a free seminar about vein health at the Southern Maine Agency on Aging in Scarborough, Maine.

Dr. Asbjornsen’s seminar “Healthy Legs at Any Age” will review the basics of vein health, with a focus on common vein problems for older adults, such as varicose veins, leg ulcers and deep vein thrombosis (DVT). There will be ample time for discussion, so attendees are encouraged to come with questions for the doctor. The seminar is free.

“Healthy Legs at Any Age” will be held at 3:00pm on July 18, at the Southern Maine Agency on Aging located at 136 U.S. Route One. Space is limited, so please call The Vein Healthcare Center at (207) 221-7799 to register.

“Many seniors have been told that aching, heavy legs are a normal part of aging,” said Dr. Asbjornsen. “I want those patients to know that you are not too old to feel better.”
