The Nursing profession is projected to generate approximately 587,000 new jobs by the year 2016.
Los Angeles, CA and Princeton, NJ (PRWEB) July 10, 2012
OMI and ALC have announced their new medical marketing database offering -- Nurses At Home. The database consists of approximately 5.5 million Nurses across various specialties across the US. OMI has verified a total of 712K nurses with valid consumer email address.
According to Paula Chiocchi, President and CEO of OMI, "This new medical database contains information on the growing Nurses market, who make up the largest healthcare occupation within the medical industry." The nursing profession is projected to generate approximately 587,000 new jobs by the year 2016 -- one of the largest increases across all occupations in the US economy.
Maryann Posten, Director of Sales, ALC MD, points to the fact that this group of professionals are open to both business and consumer-based offerings. " Nurses are constantly on the look-out for ways to increase their knowledge by taking ongoing coursework. Additionally, they are taking on more of the responsibility for hospital purchasing decisions." Posten also pointed out that with nursing salaries on the increase, this segment is becoming a hot target for consumer offerings as well.
The new database contains information on all types of nurses (i.e., LPN's RN's, and Nurse Practitioners to name a few) across all medical specialties. For a complete listing of what is included within the database, please visit OMI's website.
