Today, USA Payday Forever made the announcement that they are cancelling the development of the new cash advance hotline they were working on. A representative for USA Payday Forever said that the company decided that the new hotline was redundant when considered alongside their customer service center services. He elaborated that the cash advance company would be funneling all resources and training into their already existing customer service representatives.
Their payday loan customer service representatives already have training in regards to most of the functions the hotline would serve. A few months ago, USA Payday Forever created a special training program for their customer service representatives that would allow them to be able to help customers with their personal finance issues. Therefore, any additional needs that the hotline would have addressed are now being consolidated into the customer service representative training program.
Both the customer service representative training program and the hotline were intended to be key parts of USA Payday Forever’s customer centric personal finance solutions program. Payday loan customer service representatives were trained to be able to help customers on a personal level to help them with their finances by offering advice, in addition to USA Payday Forever’s normal customer service.
A statement was released by a representative of USA Payday Forever in regards to their change of direction with the hotline. This statement said, “While we regret scrapping the personal finance hotline, we think it’s best served as a part of our customer service representative training. Our goals will be met at a fraction of the cost it would’ve taken to run both the hotline and our regular service lines.”
