Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) July 05, 2012
Sweet Sweat, the topical thermogenic workout enhancer produced by California-based Sports Research Corporation, returns to Las Vegas as one of the exhibitors in the seventh Ultimate Fight Championship (UFC) Fan Expo, which will be held on July 6 to 7 at the famed Mandalay Bay Convention Center. Team Sweet Sweat will occupy booth 1533, where visitors will be able to watch live product demonstrations and get Sweet Sweat products at 33 percent off.
The UFC Fan Expo is an annual event dedicated to UFC and mixed martial arts (MMA) aficionados that has been held since 2009. The July 2012 edition of the UFC Fan Expo marks the third time that the event will be staged in Las Vegas. Previous UFC Fan Expos were also held in Boston, Houston, London, and Toronto. This year’s Las Vegas expo will be held in conjunction with UFC 148: Silva vs. Sonnen II.
“Team Sweet Sweat is always excited to attend a UFC Fan Expo. The presence of the UFC’s biggest stars draws amazing crowds including many fans who are passionate and knowledgeable about the sport of mixed martial arts. It’s a great opportunity for us to demonstrate how Sweet Sweat helps MMA fighters during training and the weight cut, and show fans that they can train like an elite athlete by using Sweet Sweat products whenever they exercise,” said Sweet Sweat vice-president for sales and marketing Jeff Pedersen, Jr.
The demonstration involves a member of Team Sweet Sweat applying the product to one side of his or her body before jumping rope for 30 minutes. A thermographic scanner will record and measure infrared heat patterns while he or she is exercising to prove that Sweet Sweat increases circulation and sweating on the side of the body where it was applied. “Sweet Sweat is the ideal workout companion for MMA fighters, athletes, and fitness enthusiasts because it helps them warm up faster, exercise longer, cut water weight, and speed up recovery time,” Pedersen added.
UFC Hall of Famers Chuck Liddell and Randy Couture, UFC champions Junior Dos Santos (heavyweight), Jon Jones (light heavyweight), Ben Henderson (lightweight), and Dominick Cruz (bantamweight), Strikeforce champions Gilbert Melendez (lightweight) and Ronda Rousey (women’s bantamweight), and former UFC champions BJ Penn and Frank Mir are among the MMA stars gracing the event. The UFC Fan Expo also features a grappling tournament, Gracie jiu-jitsu seminars, training and development sessions, and other special events.
Sweet Sweat is formulated to increase circulation and sweating, helping athletes train better and exercisers achieve their fitness goals like lose belly fat. Sports Research is currently offering 20 percent off on all Sweet Sweat products ordered online and free shipping for orders that exceed $50.
