Buffalo, NY (PRWEB) July 06, 2012
The Historic Lodge Event Center, formerly the Masonic lodge in Buffalo, New York, has now been converted into a luxurious venue for weddings, private parties and corporate events. The event center, which was at one time slated for demolition, blends the rich history of the Masons with historic 1920s architecture. The Historic Lodge Event Center was recently renovated by its new owner, Stephen Phillips, an area businessman and auctioneer, who spent several months working to rescue the historic landmark. Mr. Phillips has hosted live auctions at the event center twice a month and has recently opened it to the public for private parties, weddings and events.
The Historic Lodge Event Center houses three banquet rooms that two accommodate up to 225 guests and one host up to 75. The Main Hall has a large floor space, a disco ball and a stage. The Sapphire Room is elegant and showcases the buildings historical architecture and the George Washington Room, which is designed for smaller gatherings, features marble floors and stately decor. Because of its blend of vintage opulence and modern functionality, the Historic Lodge Event Center is known to be an ideal one stop venue for a wedding ceremony and reception.
"When it comes to choosing a venue for a wedding, party or corporate function - The Historic Lodge Event Center is the premiere choice in Buffalo," says Stephen Phillips, owner of the Historic Lodge Event Center.
