Steve Nash and Kobe Bryant are rivals no more. As reported by espn.com, the star point guard of Phoenix Suns was heading to Los Angeles Lakers for the next three seasons of the NBA league. And as asserted by GreenBeanBuddy, getting Nash was a big steal for the LA team.
Based on Nash's statement shared by the report, he decided to go for the Lakers as it offers him close proximity with his three children who stays in Phoenix. According to other reports, his phone call with Kobe Bryant also convinced him to join the basketball superstar's team along with Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum.
Nash will be officially a Laker on July 11, when the leaguewide free-agency moratorium ends, added the report. It also detailed that his deal was an estimated $27 million for three years. In exchange of him, the Suns will get a load of draft picks from the Lakers. That is first rounders in 2013 and 2015 and second rounders in 2013 and 2014.
