New contract supports mobile battery service for nearly 12 million AAA members.

Club Assist and AAA Club Partners announced today that they have extended their mobile battery service partnership through December 2014.

AAA Club Partners − a consortium of clubs including AAA Arizona; AAA Northern California, Nevada, and Utah; AAA Allied Group, Inc.; AAA Hoosier Motor Club; AAA MountainWest; AAA South Jersey; AAA Northwest Ohio; AAA Oklahoma; AAA Mid-Atlantic; and AAA Southern Pennsylvania − represents nearly 12 million AAA members. The group installs almost 500,000 new batteries annually for AAA members who want a speedy, convenient solution to their vehicle breakdown.

“We rely on Club Assist for their expertise in distributing AAA-branded batteries to our independent contractors and to select and maintain the testing devices that are relied upon to determine the health of the vehicle,” says Lance Sabouni, Vice President of Automotive Services for AAA Mid-Atlantic. “We see this partnership as one more way that we can take our program to the next level and build on the trust and value we deliver to AAA members at the roadside.”

Club Assist supports AAA and Canadian Automobile Association affiliates, as well as providing support to auto clubs in Australia, New Zealand, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, and the Netherlands.

“It’s a great honor when customers extend their relationship with you,” says Don Felts, President of Club Assist North America. “We’re especially proud of our strong partnership with these clubs, and look forward to a long relationship of delivering exceptional member services.”

About AAA Club Partners
AAA Club Partners (ACP) was formed to create extraordinary value for members to enable enduring success for AAA. Born of the merger between two large AAA holding companies, ACP serves nearly 12 million members in 20 states and the District of Columbia, stretching across six time zones. Officially approved as an AAA member club in December, 2010, ACP quickly moved into action in 2011.

The ACP model is powered by collaboration and innovation: finding more effective ways to work together and discovering new sources of value. All CEOs have a seat at the leadership team table, and all have a voice in setting direction and priorities.
