“We are excited to again be sponsoring the AIA FL raffle and contributing to Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach County,” says Ray Crawford, President of Crawford Tracey.

One lucky attendee at the AIA Florida 2012 Annual Convention and Trade Show on July 19-22 at The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida, will win a lease on a 2012 Smart Car.
Sponsored by Crawford Tracey Corporation, a leading Florida-based glazing contractor specializing in unitized and pre-glazed curtain wall and window wall products, proceeds from the Smart Car raffle will benefit Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach County, Inc. and support the construction of a Habitat for Humanity home in the Palm Beach area.
“We are excited to again be sponsoring the AIA FL raffle and contributing to Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach County,” says Ray Crawford, President of Crawford Tracey. “We have a long tradition of giving back to the communities in which we work and live and are committed to making a difference through our numerous outreach initiatives, volunteer efforts and philanthropic contributions.”
Students from Seminole Ridge High School Construction Academy will build the home as part of their annual project. The school teaches students about construction techniques in all trades and at the same time, and by building this house for Habitat for Humanity, they are applying their education while benefiting people in the community.
“AIA Florida has always believed in working together to give back to our communities, and this combination of corporate sponsorship, education, and community couldn’t be a better fit,” noted Peter Jones, President of AIA Florida. “We are honored to be a part of something so special.”
Raffle tickets are $15 for one ticket and $40 for three tickets, and they can be purchased during the convention at the registration desk. The drawing will take place just after the convention’s general session on Saturday, July 21, at 2:30 p.m. in the Ponce de Leon Foyer. You need not be present to win.
"We are grateful for Crawford Tracey’s support of Habitat's work toward building a house in our area," said Bernard Godek, Executive Director at Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach County, Inc.
