SkyIMD Awarded EASA STC for Additional Cessna Aircraft

The SkyFusion Pak system from SkyIMD has received a Supplemental Type Certificate from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).

SkyFusion Pak now approved for installation on Cessna 152, 172, 182 and 206 aircraft.

In addition to EASA Certification, our SkyFusion Pak system has received certification from the FAA, as well as agencies in Australia, Mexico and Canada.

The SkyFusion Pak system from SkyIMD has received a Supplemental Type Certificate from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). The EASA approvals will allow operators in the European Community to take advantage of the company’s turnkey aerial imaging solution for mission-critical and technically-demanding applications including border patrol, law enforcement, disaster response, and search and rescue.

The expanded STC approvals apply to C206, C182, C172 and C152 models. European countries granting EASA STC approval include Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.

Small, lightweight and portable, SkyFusion Pak can be deployed quickly and installed easily in the field on multiple aerial platforms. SkyFusion Pak includes a self-contained pod with an application-specific sensor and motorized control that is ready to be mounted on wing struts or belly. The system can be configured with optional components, such as Sony EO imagers and FLIR infrared sensors, to meet the needs of different applications. It also includes a flight control laptop computer that is customized and pre-configured with comprehensive management and control software.
