Thelma Nichols Geary, Cheryl Geary Schultz, Kimberly Lynn Schultz, and Patricia Munson Duncan collaborate to celebrate the beauty of each season of the year and of life. In Gates of Greenwich, a book released through Xlibris, they share a unique anthology that presents and tells the stories of the spectacular and the hidden gates in beautiful Greenwich, Connecticut.
Through more than one hundred fifty delightful photographs, Gates of Greenwich presents a collection of gates that can be marveled at within Greenwich. A driving tour around this captivating town conceived the idea for this enchanting book. Peppered with short poems, it paints a vivid illustration of the often-unnoticed art of such structures. The Gates of Greenwich reveals the different appearances of gates throughout the seasons of the year. From cozy looking wooden gates to bold brick entrances, from regal wrought iron entrances to nostalgic gateways, this collection provides readers with a divine, wistful, and heart-tugging feel of home.
A cooperative effort of three generations of the same family and one long-term resident of Greenwich, Gates of Greenwich is bound to entertain and enthrall readers of all ages. For more information on this book, log on to http://www.Xlibris.com.
