nGenx, a market leader in desktop virtualization, will present a breakout session about cloud hosted desktops at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) on Thursday, July 12, at 1:30PM Eastern in Toronto, Canada.

The WPC is the premier event for Microsoft partners and provides a forum for attendees to connect with other partners and Microsoft staff, and to learn about the latest Microsoft strategies and cutting-edge technologies.

Robert Bye, President and CEO of nGenx, will present a breakout session titled, “US Hosting: Cloud Hosted Desktops”, which will examine current cloud computing trends in the software vendor market and will lay out a strategy for software vendors (ISVs) who are looking to take their applications to the cloud. The presentation will include examples of nGenx solutions built on cutting edge Microsoft and Citrix technologies to deliver hosted desktops in the cloud. In addition, Gabe Authier, Cloud Industry Specialist for Viewpoint Construction Software, a partner of nGenx, will be giving a demonstration of their nGenx-powered desktop as a service solution.

Bye will also be presenting “Why SMB's Should Be Considering a Bring Your Own Device Model,” on Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at 2:00 PM in the Microsoft Innovation Theatre, which will inform attendees on the current ‘consumerization of IT’ trends and facts about the benefits of a ‘bring your own device’ model.
