IntelliTec College invites the public to attend its Everything Automotive Show on Friday, August 3rd from 4:00 – 6:30 p.m. This free show has everything from classic cars to motorcycles to racecars and dragsters – up to 150 vehicles. This event offers free activities, music and free food for all ages and is made possible by IntelliTec College and other local sponsors.

Spectators can view motorcycles, custom cars, classics, hot rods, race cars, electric cars and even jet dragsters. Festivities include free hot dogs, soda and chips, a petting zoo, face painting, caricature artist, bounce house, ice cones, a live band and a live radio remote. This show will be held in front of the IntelliTec College Automotive building (south side) in the parking lot at 2206 Pikes Peak Ave. Attendee parking is on the north side (behind) the IntelliTec College Automotive facility.

The Pikes Peak Hill Climb Mobile Museum will be featured at this event. During the free drawings, tickets to the Pikes Peak Hill Climb, Pueblo Motor Sports Parkway, and El Paso County Speedway will be given away.

IntelliTec College’s Automotive Technician Instructor Martin Michelon explains that the “Pikes Peak Hill Climb has been associated with our car show since its inception. Racing legends like Lenard, Clint Vahsholtz and Bobby Unser, Jr. have attended in the past. Savannah Rickli will be returning again this year. These drivers bring their experience and their actual Pikes Peak Hill Climb race cars to the show, and the public can speak with them directly. It’s fun, informative and it is all free…It is a great family event!”

The College’s Automotive Technician program is hosting this event for the 4th year in a row. Students will display one of their racecar engines and other aspects of the High Performance Annex that they work on daily. The full automotive facility will be available for tours, and automotive instructors, students and admissions representatives will be on hand to answer questions about the automotive training school’s program.
