If you always live in the past or the future, you will never see what God has for you today.

TAMPA, Fla. – In his new book “Breakfast in Bed: The First Meal of Your Day” (published by WestBow Press), pastor and author Zelford D. Irions, Sr., delivers a collection of Christian inspirational quotes and his own self-help advice.

“Breakfast in Bed” is a book of daily affirmations in which Irions offers readers 146 days of reading a verse from the Bible along with Irions’ inspirational words associated with the verse.

An excerpt from “Breakfast in Bed”:

“Live one day at a time. God has something in store for you today. If you always live in the past or the future, you will never see what God has for you today. Ask God to show you your assignment for today, and let His will be done.

Have a blessed day!”

Irions likens inspirational Scripture and affirmations to food. He believes the spiritual food he provides in “Breakfast in Bed” will help readers start each day with the rejuvenating feeling that God has spoken to them.
