"Vidisco constantly strives to develop and deliver both hardware and software innovations in the world of Digital X-ray."

Mr. Lior Pick, Vidisco’s Executive VP, will speak at the upcoming 15th Digital Imaging (DI) Conference about a newly developed automatic software process that enables easy and accurate Wall Thickness Measurement using Digital Radiography.
The new algorithm overcomes several inherent technological challenges and obstacles, and offers a user-friendly optimal tool when applying Tangential or Double Wall Measurement Techniques.
Gone is the need to mark the measurement points manually - thus consistent replication is ensured even when the measurements are performed at different times and by different users.
These automatic Wall Thickness Measurement Techniques, which are now integrated into Vidisco’s proprietary XbitPro software, enable the user to achieve unprecedented accuracy as well as savings in terms of both time and money.
The lecture, called “Wall Thickness Measurement Techniques Using Digital Radiography,” will be delivered by Mr. Lior Pick on the first day of the conference, July 16, at 1:00 p.m.
The 15th DI Conference, which is scheduled for July 16-18, will be held at the Foxwoods Resort in Mashantucket, Connecticut, USA. DI is considered the American Society for Nondestructive Testing’s most highly rated annual conference for the suppliers and users of digital and radiographic imaging. This targeted event emphasizes the important role of digital imaging techniques and applications for nondestructive testing, and features live demonstrations.
