I am a Christian and I want others to see what happens when a person trusts the Lord regardless of what trials come to them.
Springfield, OH (PRWEB) July 10, 2012
Many find themselves lost and confused, looking for the strength and inspiration to continue on during life’s difficulties. To help provide courage and guidance comes Barbara Wilson’s new book, “He is Our Strength” (published by AuthorHouse).
When asked of her inspiration for writing “He is Our Strength,” Wilson responded, “I am a Christian and I want others to see what happens when a person trusts the Lord regardless of what trials come to them.”
“He is Our Strength” tells the story of Beth, a young woman who grew up with a mother constantly criticizing her and making her feel like she wasn’t capable of doing things on her own. At age 19, she escaped her home life by eloping with Nathan, a 29-year-old who turned out to be as critical and controlling as her mother.
Beth’s life forever changed when she met Tammy while working at a day care center. Not only did they become friends, but Tammy introduced her to God and Jesus.
During a major crisis in Beth’s life, God saved her. In the years that followed she experienced good times but also rough times. It was through God’s grace, however, that she learned to depend on his strength to get through each difficulty.
“Regardless of what problems and trials a Christian goes through, God is always with them to be their strength.”
