InventHelp®, America’s largest invention submission company, announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Maryland, has designed modified safety gear that could offer both eye and ear protection simultaneously. This invention is patented and a prototype is available.
“Safe Wear” would ensure that safety equipment is easily accessible when needed, and could keep the user from forgetting an important part of his or her gear. Designed to help enhance on-the-job safety, Safe Wear would feature a comfortable design for long-time use.
The safety glasses would be modified to include ear protection. Made of plastic, each arm would include three holes to accommodate the attachment of ear plugs. To use, an individual would connect the ear plugs so that they’re positioned in the holes closest to the ear for a comfortable fit. According to the inventor, the idea could be retrofit to existing safety glasses as well as incorporated into the new-production glasses.
“At my day-to-day job, someone always either fails to wear safety glasses or ear protection,” said the inventor. “Most people wear either/or, so I invented Safe Wear to ensure that both eye and ear protection is readily available.”
InventHelp® is attempting to submit the invention to companies for review. If substantial interest is expressed, the company will attempt to negotiate for a sale or royalties for the inventor. For more information, telephone Dept. 10-WDH-150 at (800) 851-6030.
