"Our students represent diversity on many different levels—from professions and outside time commitments, to career goals—and we realize that each student has his or her own educational needs."

Elms College will host information sessions at Holyoke Community College and Springfield Technical Community College in July and August during both day and evening hours. The sessions are designed for associate’s degree holders who are interested in earning a bachelor’s degree from Elms College on a community college campus that is convenient and familiar. A full schedule of upcoming information sessions at HCC and STCC are available at http://www.elms.edu/hcc and http://www.elms.edu/ce, respectively.

Elms College’s off campus programs make a bachelor’s degree attainable and affordable for men and women who have work or family commitments, or who have been out of school for a number of years. Classes are held on Saturdays at the STCC and HCC campuses, and students who already have an associate’s degree can earn an Elms College bachelor’s degree in 20 months.

"Many of the students enrolled in our off campus program have been out of school for many years, some even decades, while others streamline directly from their associate's degree to this program," said Elizabeth Hukowicz, Ed.D., Division of Graduate Studies and Continuing Education associate academic dean. "Our students represent diversity on many different levels—from professions and outside time commitments, to career goals—and we realize that each student has his or her own educational needs. Our faculty are supportive of and accessible to adult learners, and provide academic advising, enrollment consultation, and tutoring on the HCC and STCC campuses."
