Swedish founder uses feedback from customers globally to create products with functionality and style in the garden

Garden Girl products are designed by women for women, inspired by input from dedicated customers in 22 countries who are avid gardeners and enjoy the outdoors.

Garden Girl was created in Sweden five years ago when founder Petra Maison, a gardener herself, realized that there were very few fashionable, comfortable and functional gardening clothes, shoes and accessories for women on the market. Garden Girl products are designed by Maison and her team in the founder’s native Sweden and are currently being introduced in boutique and gardening retail outlets in the U.S.

Garden Girl USA has an exclusive partnership with Tierra-Derco International LLC, an importer, designer and manufacturer of distinctive garden products, to distribute Garden Girl products to independent garden centers in North America.

What began with a simple pair of form-fitting, functional overalls has blossomed into a whole collection of clothing with the same qualities. Garden Girl’s products come in beautiful, feminine colors and are made to fit the female body. For example, Garden Girl’s overalls have WONDERFIT stretch side panels in various places for easy, comfortable squatting, stretching and bending and pockets for gardening tools, a smart phone and other Garden Girl accessories.

In addition to overalls, Garden Girl products include capris, shorts, skorts, tops, vests, footwear, including durable rubber boots and clogs, gloves, outerwear and accessories, including garden bags, socks, aprons, hats, scarves, knee pads and umbrellas.
